Jasmine and dimitri were wonderful hosts. Wonderful but could of enhanced the stay with tea and coffee available on the room Well recommended. The owners gave our stay  a personal touch with flowers on the balcony. An exceptional clean hotel close to the beach. Very nice little hotel with family management The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the center of the village, but very calm. The rooms are middle size, very nice (every room has a different design) and very clean. Some rooms offer a breathtaking view on the Libyan Sea.The bathroom is excellent, over the average for Crete. The breakfast is simply exquisite, with every day something different, home-made by Asimina and served in the patio. Asimina, Dimitris and their family are very nice peoples that take time for you and make you feel welcome. We were there for the second time and we hope it will not be the last one !		 - 08/07/2016

IDI , ein schöner Abschluss auf unserer Rundreise. 😀 - Das Idi war unser letztes Hotel auf unserer Kreta Rundreise und ein wunderbarer Abschluss. Eine kleines Hotel mit nettem Garten in dem auch gefühstückt wird.Und das Frühstück war wirklich top! Die Besitzerin bereitet jeden Tag andere Leckereien zu , frisch gebackenen Kuchen etc. So nett! Die Zimmer sind schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, wir hatten einen schönen Balkon mit teilweise Meerblick. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.		 - 22/10/2025

Kleines Hotel mit super Service  Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer und teilweise den Hafen. Es ist sehr günstig zum Ortszentrum und zum nächsten kleinen Supermarkt gelegen. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind teilweise vor dem Hotel oder auf der Strasse vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist jeden morgen sehr individuell und abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Gastgeber freundlich und sehr um die Gäste bemüht.

Een paradijsje in Agia Galini. Wij verbleven een weekje in dit droomparadijsje, en komen zeker terug. De kamer was héél proper, bed ligt zalig de airco op de kamer was een groot pluspunt. We hadden ook een kleine koelkast en een mooi terras, s'nachts was het heerlijk stil, je kon de ramen goed afsluiten met luiken zo blijft het heerlijk koel en donker. Alle dagen een ander typisch Grieks ontbijt, met veel liefde gemaakt door Jasmin. Het is en was gewoon TOP daar. Dank u Jasmin en Dimitri's voor de geslaagde vakantie. Μικρό φιλόξενο οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο Μέιναμε με τα δύο μικρά μας παιδιά μας, για 3 βραδιές του Αυγούστου, σε ένα πολύ ευρύχωρο και καθαρό τετράκλινο δωμάτιο. 

Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν στον 2ο όροφο, πολύ ευρύχωρο με τέσσερα μονά κρεβάτια, δύο μπάνια, air condition (δωρεάν), τηλεόραση, ψυγείο και δωρεάν κάλυψη Wi-Fi, και μεγάλο μπαλκόνι.

Καθαριότητα του δωματίου και αλλαγή πετσετών καθημερινή.

Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και κάθε μέρα υπήρχε και κάτι διαφορετικό, σπιτικά φτιαγμένο από οικοδέσποινα κα.Ασημίνα. Γενικά η φιλοξενία ήταν πολύ φιλική και ο γιός μας πέρασε πολύ ωραία παίζοντας με το μικρό εγγονάκι της κα.Ασημίνας.

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 5-10 λεπτών με τα πόδια και από την παραλία και από το κέντρο της Αγίας Γαλήνης. Λόγω βέβαια μορφολογίας της περιοχής πρέπει στην επιστροφή να ανέβεις μια απότομη ανηφόρα.		 - 22/08/2012

Mitten im Dorf und trotzdem ruhig. Unkompliziert und zuvorkommend.  Sehr liebenswertes Gastgeberpaar, wir haben uns sehr gut mit ihnen verstanden und geplaudert.

Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet, jeden Tag selbst gebackenes Brot und jeden Tag andere schmackhafte Beilagen und Früchte dazu. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Alles super!

Exceptional  Ein gemütliches liebevoll geführtes Hotel von den Besitzern Asimina + Dimitri. Es wird jeden Morgen ein vielfältiges Frühstück serviert, unteranderem mit selbstgebackenen griechischen Spetzialitäten von Asimina. Hier wird man in jeder Hinsicht verwöhnt! Wir kamen als Fremde und gingen als Freunde. Vielen herzlichen Dank für Alles und bis zum nächsten Jahr!

Lovely owners, great value, amazing breakfast My wife and I stayed here for two nights.  We were on the 3rd floor with a village view.  Upon arrival the owner's son took up our luggage for us, which was nice.  The room was very clean, the bathroom was good sized and functional with a countertop (not just a pedestal sink).  Water pressure and temperature were also very good.  There are blackout shutters to the balcony.  These totally blocked out the light, keeping the room cool and dark enough for an afternoon nap.  A small TV and fridge were also present.

There is a small shared kitchen available to prepare simple meals or grab a plate/utensils for in-room snacks.

There is no lift, so you have to take the stairs.   The rooms are one, two or three flights up from ground level.

Now to the really good part: breakfast!

Each evening when we walked through the lobby, the smells coming from the kitchen would have drawn the gods down from Mt. Olympus. When I asked what it was the owner would say with a sheepish grin "It's for breakfast tomorrow, it's a surprise".

Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside)

We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals.  Upon hearing this, I wished we were staying for 10 days, not just two!

Excellent bread, a fruit plate, vegetable pies, coffee, juice.  All of it was delicious and carried us through to the early afternoon.

Hotel Idi is a great value in a great location.  It is the lowest street down to the 'port' area.  There are a few parking spaces out front.  I would not hesitate to stay here again.		 - 19/06/2018
