I'd rather you stay away from Agia Galini, but ... If you insist on going and spoiling the bucolic splendor of the area, Hotel Idi is the place to stay.  A small hotel with perhaps a dozen rooms, the place is simple but very clean, very comfortable, has reliable internet, and awesome, delicious, breakfasts that vary daily. Hôtel charmant et séjour parfait ! Accueil et petit déjeuner superbes 😀 - Tout!…Cosy et charmant avec une jolie terrasse et son bougainvillier La chambre est très agréable et le petit jardin où l’on prend son petit déjeuner est un havre de paix Un îlot de charme dans ce joli port sans trop de monde au mois de juin … de belles promenades et une magnifique lumière dans les restaurants qui surplombent la mer …belle découverte L’accueil est parfait et les gâteaux salés et sucrés de la maison différents tous les jours sont un vrai régal Bref séjour parfait et rapport qualité prix imbattable ! 😞 - Rien		 - 27/06/2023

Fantastisch  Mevrouw maakt van ieder ontbijt een feestje. Ze kwam elke ochtend met iets anders en genoot zichtbaar van de complimenten hierover. Hele goede bedden! Erg schoon. We gaan er zeker nog eens heen.
 Niets aan te merken. Tja er is geen lift maar geheel Agia Galini bestaat uit trappen dus is het voor een minder valide sowieso geen handige locatie.		 - 07/08/2018

''Οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο με τέλειο πρωινό'' Όλα ήταν υπέρχοχα!Το περιβάλλον όμορφο  και οικογενειακό.Ένα πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο, καθαρό, ήσυχο και ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Το δε προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει.Εκείνο όμως που πραγματικά δεν έχουμε ξανασυναντήσει είναι η μεγάλη ποικιλία του πρωινού που καθημερινά αποτελούνταν από νόστιμες ,παραδοσιακές  κρητικές λιχουδιές.Η παραλία είναι μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια . Μικρό φιλόξενο οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο Μέιναμε με τα δύο μικρά μας παιδιά μας, για 3 βραδιές του Αυγούστου, σε ένα πολύ ευρύχωρο και καθαρό τετράκλινο δωμάτιο. 

Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν στον 2ο όροφο, πολύ ευρύχωρο με τέσσερα μονά κρεβάτια, δύο μπάνια, air condition (δωρεάν), τηλεόραση, ψυγείο και δωρεάν κάλυψη Wi-Fi, και μεγάλο μπαλκόνι.

Καθαριότητα του δωματίου και αλλαγή πετσετών καθημερινή.

Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και κάθε μέρα υπήρχε και κάτι διαφορετικό, σπιτικά φτιαγμένο από οικοδέσποινα κα.Ασημίνα. Γενικά η φιλοξενία ήταν πολύ φιλική και ο γιός μας πέρασε πολύ ωραία παίζοντας με το μικρό εγγονάκι της κα.Ασημίνας.

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 5-10 λεπτών με τα πόδια και από την παραλία και από το κέντρο της Αγίας Γαλήνης. Λόγω βέβαια μορφολογίας της περιοχής πρέπει στην επιστροφή να ανέβεις μια απότομη ανηφόρα.		 - 22/08/2012

Très bel hôtel au grand calme dans un magnifique environnement.Belle piscine dans un jardin très bien entretenu et très fleuri.Les chambres sont modernes avec balcon. Perfect Perch for a Sea View! We liked this place. Easy to find. Right as you take the main road in, it's up on hill above looking down on port.

Ask for a room on top floor if you can with terrace - beautiful view.

Good breakfast, home baking, and nice staff. Bed was a bit hard but the sweet balcony view made up for any shortfalls the room had... it was very basic. Washroom was clean.

Only negative thing is we had to show our print out of our reservation confirmation at check out, as they said it was more money, so I had to show here the reservation print out and then they agreed - but they became instantly unfriendly.

Short stay but wish it had been longer. We stayed here at the start of a 2 week holiday for 2 nights,then for 3 nights at the end of our holiday.But when all was completed we really wished we had just stayed at the Idi for the full 2 weeks.Then hotel is small and the owners are so friendly,they really made us feel welcome could not have been better hosts.The breakfasts are so perfect not to heavy,no full Monty,s but enough to start your day and keep you going until lunch without feeling hungry.Jasmine and Dimitri's are charming people very calm and hospitable.The room we had was on the top floor with great views to the left and straight ahead overlooking the bay,we would recommend room 305 for us it was perfect, clean and very comfortable.We really enjoyed sitting in the garden area out of the full sun and just the right amount of shade to enjoy a coffee etc.Marks out of 10 has got to be 10++++.		 - 22/07/2016

Hotel Idi - auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!  Asemina u. Dimitris, zwei sehr freundliche, herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die ihre Frühstückspesion ganz alleine und mit viel Liebe zum Detail führen. Zum Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Terrasse gabs jeden Tag eine andere Überraschung - alles selbst gemacht und sehr lecker. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar!  Familiehotel gerund door een zeer vriendelijk echtpaar. We hadden een mooie, ruime familiekamer, welke elke dag goed schoongehouden werd. Ook de algemene ruimtes in het hotel waren tip top in orde.

Bijzonder smakelijk ontbijt op de sfeervolle veranda, met naast de lekkere toast iedere dag een andere hartige en zoete verrassing en een schaal vers fruit. Het ontbijt werd vers bereid met voornamelijk ingrediënten uit de eigen (biologische) tuin (niet alleen groente en fruit, maar ook verse eieren van de eigen kippen en zelfgemaakte kaas van de melk van eigen geiten). De tuin ligt overigens niet naast het hotel, maar net buiten Agia Galini (naast Charlie's Place, wat ook een aanrader is).

Gemütliches Hotel mit herzlichen Besitzern - wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!  Zum Frühstück wurden täglich 2 verschiedene hausgemachte griechische Spezialitäten serviert, ebenso frisches Obst, frisch gepresster Orangensaft und Kaffee.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Hotelbesitzerin und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich und haben sich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste gekümmert.

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub und werden es weiter empfehlen!  Es ist ein kleines sehr gemütliches Familien geführtes Hotel! Jeden gab es ein kleines extra beim Frühstück-kuchen, Eierkuchen mit Joghurt,Blätterteig mit Käse,jeden Tag immer dazu Obst.Ausserdem konnte man zusätzlich Eier, Wurst und Käse bestellen. Es fehlte an nichts! Die Zimmer wurden täglich gesäubert, es war ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer und es gab eine kleine Küche im Haus,die jeder hätte nutzen können!
