Absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar! Familiehotel gerund door een zeer vriendelijk echtpaar. We hadden een mooie, ruime familiekamer, welke elke dag goed schoongehouden werd. Ook de algemene ruimtes in het hotel waren tip top in orde.
Bijzonder smakelijk ontbijt op de sfeervolle veranda, met naast de lekkere toast iedere dag een andere hartige en zoete verrassing en een schaal vers fruit. Het ontbijt werd vers bereid met voornamelijk ingrediënten uit de eigen (biologische) tuin (niet alleen groente en fruit, maar ook verse eieren van de eigen kippen en zelfgemaakte kaas van de melk van eigen geiten). De tuin ligt overigens niet naast het hotel, maar net buiten Agia Galini (naast Charlie's Place, wat ook een aanrader is).

Liebevoll gemachte Unterkunft 😀 - Sehr liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft mit sehr hilfsbereiten Inhabern, die uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gaben. Jeden Morgen gab es ein liebevoll zubereitetes, reichhaltiges Frühstück im Garten. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Lage war auch gut, um Ausflüge in der Gegend zu machen. 😞 - Nichts, wir waren rundum zufrieden. 🙂 - 27/08/2023

A great Greek gem, friendly, kind and great value This a true Greek great find.

So clean, with a lovely breakfast of fruit, bread, and a local omelette or pie or pancake.

All the family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms so clean. And unlike many Greek buildings, all areas of the hotel are beautifully kept and maintained.

The hotel is located just above the Main Streets, a little climb up but worth it with car parking in front the hotel, or street.

Its soooo not a sterile corporate hotel, it's great!

immer wieder Das kleine Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße zum Hafen hin und verfügt über 15 Zimmer, wovon 6 nach vorne zur Straße mit Blick auf das Meer gelegen sind. Die Zimmer sind praktisch ausgestattet und verfügen über alles was benötigt wird. Auf dem kleinen Balkon kann man den Abend bei Getränken ausklingen lassen. Das die Ortschaft am Fuß der Berge liegt und man so zum Wasser/Tavernen/Shoppen usw. Treppen und teilweise steile Straßen benutzen muss, dürfte nach einem Blick auf die Karte klar sein. Das Beste kam jeden morgen mit dem Frühstück auf der Terrasse: selbst gebackenes Brot, Kuchen und andere Naschereien, nebst Obst, leckerem Kaffee und frischem O-Saft. Jasmina und Dimitrios haben alle Wünsche erfüllt und gute Tipps gegeben. Parkplätze waren direkt vor dem Haus oder in direkter Umgebung vorhanden. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist ein Wagen empfehlenswert.
Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war die recht laute Klimaanlage; man hatte die Wahl: Klimaanlage und kühl oder offener Balkon mit Straßengeräuschen und warm. - 21/09/2019

A good welcome followed up by a happy stay. The hotel is conveniently sited, old and extended village easily accessible, parking not difficult, biggish breakfast - kitchen not seen but cooked O.K. for unusually generous breakfast, nice room with balcony that got afternoon shade, decent plumbing not needing lavatory paper to be deposited in a bin. It does only breakfast, but there is a choice of tavernas within easy striking distance during the season.

Meraviglioso...da sogno 😀 - Posizione ottimale per raggiungere le belle spiagge dei dintorni in un delizioso paesino, uno dei più belli e caratteristici che abbiamo visitato in tutta Creta. Porticciolo e ottimi ristoranti e negozietti tipici a pochi passi. Il giardino dove viene servita l’abbondante e molto varia colazione, preparata personalmente dalla proprietaria e ogni giorno diversa, è poi delizioso e la proprietaria e il marito davvero accoglienti e molto premurosi. Camere semplici, pulite, con ampio balcone su cui si arrampica pure una fantastica bouganville e vista mare... Una vacanza da sogno che rimarrà nel cuore - 23/09/2025 

Superb 😀 - Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Gastgebern empfangen. Die Lage ist super, dicht zum Strand und zum Hafen. Parken kann man direkt vor der Unterkunft. Sollte kein Parkplatz verfügbar sein, ist das auch kein Problem. Der Gastgeber kümmert sich um einen dichten Parkplatz. Das Zimmer bietet genug Platz für zwei Personen. Das Bad ist klein, aber sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist auch recht geräumig. Eine kleine, an der Wand befestigte Wäscheleine ist ebenso vorhanden. Im zweiten Stockwerk befindet sich eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Wasserkocher, einer kleinen Herdplatte und Geschirr. Am besten ist natürlich das täglich frisch zubereitete Frühstück von der Gastgeberin. Alles selbst gebacken. Ein Traum. Serviert wird dies im kleinen Vorgarten. Sie hat auch sehr gute Tipps was Essen gehen und Ausflüge angeht. Auch konnte sie uns mit Sonnenschirmen aushelfen für die Tage, die wir dort unterwegs waren. Generell ist Agia Galini ein super Ausgangspunkt um umliegende Strände und Sehenswertes zu besuchen (Preveli oder Matala). Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😞 - None - 27/06/2023 

Séjour simple et agréable - La gentillesse des hôtes
- À deux minutes à pied du petit centre ville et des restaurants
- Bonne situation géographique si vous souhaitez rayonner vers Matala
- La salle de bain refaite au goût du jour bien que très petite
- Le petit déjeuner fait maison sur la terrasse de l’établissement, sous les bougainvilliers
- Nous avons eu le choix entre deux chambres car la chambre initialement demandée (vue sur mer) n’était plus disponible. D’ailleurs, vue sur mer uniquement au dernier étage...!
- Stationner dans la rue n’est pas évident
- La chambre mérite un petit coup de neuf !
- Nous n’avions jamais vu une télévision aussi petite et cela nous a beaucoup fait rire! Nous ne la regardons pas le soir mais si vous aimez vous coucher et regarder la télévision avant de dormir, passez votre chemin 🙂

Great experiance - Nice little hotel We stayed for 10 nights at IDI Hotel and are overall happy with what we experianced. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony towards the road and sea. Great view, as the street - even the main street down to the harbor is not to busy in the night - but we enjoyed a good look on the blue sea.
The rooms are small, but well renovated and of good standard. All day cleaning was provided by the family who runs this place.
The breakfast is like many others mentioned allready on this platform - simply good and great. It is served freshly in the small garden and has every day one different local speciality served, beside bread with butter, honey and marmelade, cake, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee. Lovely and good.
Very close to the hotel is a small super market, that makes live more conveniance there by having some drinks available.
Downhill in 10 walking minutes is the beach with good options for a sun bed and swim. Same time is needed to walk downhill reaching all the taverna's and restaurants with great local food. Our favourite Taverna was the PANTHEON with a roof top terrace and a phantastic view to the harbor.
The free wifi is working well and a mini TV (we not use it) is installed. The remote control of the A/C was not working, but we did not complained as we did not use the A/C as well during our stay - just let the balcony doors open.
If you do not matter the stairs up (no elevator) and ask for a room at the 3th floor we beleive the sea view would be fantastic.
The IDI hotel is a family runed hotel with great host's.

Klein & gezellig Gezellige b&b met smorgens een lekker ontbijtje waar je zeker genoeg mee hebt. Het ontbijt wisseld elke dag waardoor er veel variatie is. Heel vriendelijke mensen die de b&b uitbaten. Vlak buiten het drukke centrum - 18/09/2020
