Asiminas unglaubliches Frühstück - sie hat ihre Gäste jeden Morgen mit selbst gebackenen süßen und herzhaften kleinen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt, dazu frisch gepresstem Orangensaft - viele Zutaten aus eigenem Garten. Und das so reichlich, dass wir das eine oder andere noch auf unsere Ausflüge als kleinen Proviant mitgenommen haben.
Die Betten waren höchst komfortabel - wir haben himmlisch geschlafen.
Mir fällt da wirklich nichts ein.
Wer noch echte Gastfreundschaft sucht, abseits von der typischen Touristen-Routine, der ist in Agia Galini und insbesondere bei Asimina und ihrem Mann bestens aufgehoben. - 11/02/2018

I'd rather you stay away from Agia Galini, but ... If you insist on going and spoiling the bucolic splendor of the area, Hotel Idi is the place to stay. A small hotel with perhaps a dozen rooms, the place is simple but very clean, very comfortable, has reliable internet, and awesome, delicious, breakfasts that vary daily. Nice start to our vacation We stayed in the family room which was spacious and clean. A beautiful garden guides you from the street to the reception area. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk to a mini-mart and a 5 minute walk to the harbor and restaurants. The owners are kind and accommodating and their grandson is delightful. Home from Home Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town. But the steps are steep so regular stops to look at the excellent gift shops, or to sit with a coffee, or an ice cream, or possibly even a delicious cocktail are advisable!The small hotel is run by Jasmine and Dimitri, and has been in the family since 1986. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning - I am a coffee and toast person but my companion enjoyed every bite!
The beach can be reached on foot in ten minutes, offers a general store, eating places and lots of sun beds.
The owners offer a home from home and that is what we found - thank you very much Jasmine and Dimitri and thanks too to your charming son. - 7/04/2017

Nice family run hotel. Very good value! Clean comfortable rooms. Not very big but in line with Cretan sizes. Home-cooked breakfast (different everyday) in a lovely garden. Convenient location close to town but away from noisy nightlife. We had good peaceful sleep. - 9/23/2014

Couldn't wish for more The taxi was waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was over two hours late. It was dark when we arrived at the hotel but the owner was outside waiting to greet us. We were quickly shown to our room and given an excellent recommendation of where to eat. It wasn't until the morning when I opened the shutters and was speechless by the most amazing panoramic view of the bay that I realised this was a special place. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and although the food arrived quickly you never felt you needed to hurry. The fridge in the room was very useful as was the little kitchen for making a cup of tea. Everything was perfect! To save always having to bother the owners to lock your valuables in the safe it would be useful if the rooms had their own. All in all a wonderful little hotel, especially the sea view rooms. Will be returning soon, I hope. - 9/14/2014

Great breakfast and hospitality
Clean and comfortable room with small balcony with sea views. Great breakfast homemade using local produce. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to beach, harbour, restaurants and shops.

My batteries are fully charged
This was the best relaxed vacation ever. We were 21 days at IDI HOTEL. This hotel is very nice with the kindest hosts. Home made breakfast every morning. You could smell fresh pasterie when going out of the room every morning.

A place where you really feel at home. Clean, tidy and well located. The owners so friendly and the Breakfast is the best I had. Variety and quality. Excellent position of the hotel. Lovely town Agia Galini with amazing sea!

Beautiful and comfortable
The room was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The bathrooms were wonderful. The pool deck was great for sunset and people watching – Dimitris and Asimina were exceptional hosts. Highly recommended.
