Lovely! 😀 - Wonderful family business. Very clean. Big. Very friendly hosts and great breakfast! Free parking in front of the hotel. The garden is so well taken care of it makes you feel good to be around planta and flowers. Our balcony was beautifully surrounded with flowers that i loved. 😞 - All was great. Jasmine and dimitri were wonderful hosts. Wonderful but could of enhanced the stay with tea and coffee available on the room Well recommended. The owners gave our stay a personal touch with flowers on the balcony. An exceptional clean hotel close to the beach. Lovely owners, great value, amazing breakfast My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We were on the 3rd floor with a village view. Upon arrival the owner's son took up our luggage for us, which was nice. The room was very clean, the bathroom was good sized and functional with a countertop (not just a pedestal sink). Water pressure and temperature were also very good. There are blackout shutters to the balcony. These totally blocked out the light, keeping the room cool and dark enough for an afternoon nap. A small TV and fridge were also present.

There is a small shared kitchen available to prepare simple meals or grab a plate/utensils for in-room snacks.

There is no lift, so you have to take the stairs. The rooms are one, two or three flights up from ground level.

Now to the really good part: breakfast!

Each evening when we walked through the lobby, the smells coming from the kitchen would have drawn the gods down from Mt. Olympus. When I asked what it was the owner would say with a sheepish grin "It's for breakfast tomorrow, it's a surprise".

Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside)

We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals. Upon hearing this, I wished we were staying for 10 days, not just two!

Excellent bread, a fruit plate, vegetable pies, coffee, juice. All of it was delicious and carried us through to the early afternoon.

Hotel Idi is a great value in a great location. It is the lowest street down to the 'port' area. There are a few parking spaces out front. I would not hesitate to stay here again. - 19/06/2018

Short stay but wish it had been longer. We stayed here at the start of a 2 week holiday for 2 nights,then for 3 nights at the end of our holiday.But when all was completed we really wished we had just stayed at the Idi for the full 2 weeks.Then hotel is small and the owners are so friendly,they really made us feel welcome could not have been better hosts.The breakfasts are so perfect not to heavy,no full Monty,s but enough to start your day and keep you going until lunch without feeling hungry.Jasmine and Dimitri's are charming people very calm and hospitable.The room we had was on the top floor with great views to the left and straight ahead overlooking the bay,we would recommend room 305 for us it was perfect, clean and very comfortable.We really enjoyed sitting in the garden area out of the full sun and just the right amount of shade to enjoy a coffee etc.Marks out of 10 has got to be 10++++. - 22/07/2016 

I'd rather you stay away from Agia Galini, but ... If you insist on going and spoiling the bucolic splendor of the area, Hotel Idi is the place to stay. A small hotel with perhaps a dozen rooms, the place is simple but very clean, very comfortable, has reliable internet, and awesome, delicious, breakfasts that vary daily. Like Family Although this is not a high end luxurious hotel, the hospitality is the ultimate luxury.
Been going to Agia Galini since 1985 and have found Hotel Idi to be my home away from home (with better weather). I can't say enough good things about the hotel, which continues to get better each year, and the transcendent hospitality shared by the owners Jasmine and Demetri. They are the embodiment of the best of Greek hospitality. And, they are enthusiastic being hospitable. They moved all our belongings when we moved to a different room, shared recipes (cheese and crepe), provided wonderful breakfasts, and even got us a good deal on a taxi to the airport.
Five times I have stayed at Hotel Idi. I cannot think of considering another hotel in Agia Galini. My girlfriend would agree, and it was her first time there. More - 31/07/2013 

Fabelhaft, sehr empfehlenswert! 😀 - Sehr, nette zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wunderschöner Garten, Zitronenbäume, alles sehr gepflegt.3 Privatparkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker, alles frisch von den Gastgebern zubereitet. Preis/Leistung sehr gut. Vielen lieben Dank an den liebevollen Familienbetrieb. 😞 - Die Lage ist für Gäste mit eingeschränkter Mobilität nicht so günstig, es sei denn, man hat ein Auto. - 30/09/2025 

Piacevole soggiorno Camera pulita, con frigo e aria condizionata, intima, ma con un bellissimo e ampio balcone con tavolino e sedie, ho potuto fare yoga tutte le mattine in balcone contornata da bellissimi fiori rosa. Bagno tenuto bene, piccolo ma con doccia grande, anche per 2.
COLAZIONE spettacolare: ogni giorno fatta in casa dalla proprietaria e servita al tavolo, ogni giorno diversa e sempre ottima, con scelta di bevanda calda, più il succo, frutta, pane tostato e marmellate e con tutto il necessario per alzarsi pieni. Dolci/cibi tradizionali.

Modern, friendly boutique hotel with a lovely garden We have stayed at Hotel Idi many times over the years. Our last stay was May 2014 in one of the newly refurbished rooms. It was amazing, so modern and everything one needs for a comfortable stay in Agia Galini. The terrace for breakfast is beautiful and peaceful over looking the oasis of a small garden. Asimina (the owner) is lovely, very helpful, friendly and speaks excellent English, and is a pleasure to sit and talk with. Thank you for a lovely time, see you soon! - 22/07/2014

Authentisches Fischerdorf mit super herzlichen Menschen - zum 5. Mal und immer gern wieder. Herzliche Gastgeber vor allem. Meine Sonderwünsche (Taxitransfer vom/zum Flughafen, obere Etage, Meerblick, Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon, ...) - sie wurden alle erfüllt.
Asiminas unglaubliches Frühstück - sie hat ihre Gäste jeden Morgen mit selbst gebackenen süßen und herzhaften kleinen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt, dazu frisch gepresstem Orangensaft - viele Zutaten aus eigenem Garten. Und das so reichlich, dass wir das eine oder andere noch auf unsere Ausflüge als kleinen Proviant mitgenommen haben.
Die Betten waren höchst komfortabel - wir haben himmlisch geschlafen.
Mir fällt da wirklich nichts ein.
Wer noch echte Gastfreundschaft sucht, abseits von der typischen Touristen-Routine, der ist in Agia Galini und insbesondere bei Asimina und ihrem Mann bestens aufgehoben. - 02/11/2018
