Fantastico hotel  Colazione ottima, fatta in casa e sempre diversa. Personale gentilissimo, posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro di agia galini a piedi.
 Essendo una zona piena di hotel, trovare il parcheggio non è facile. Il parcheggio del porto è comunque a 5 minuti a piedi.		 - 24/09/2018

Best hotel in Crete Hotel Idi is such a wonderful place to holiday and a fantastic base for the south coast. The hotel is immaculate with amazing gardens and a sense of calm. The staff are all super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really comfortable and immaculate. They’re cleaned every day. The breakfast is plentiful with every option you can think of. The restaurant is also really impressive- a lot of variety. We’ve never had a bad meal (this is our third year) you get the opportunity to meet with tourists from many other countries. I really can’t recommend Idi enough. It’s great for a few weeks or a few days. We come with our 9 year old son who loves the pool and the freedom.  If you’re looking for somewhere with beautiful scenery and away from the crowds, with a very chilled atmosphere - you will not be disappointed. It’s a real hidden gem! More		 - 25/08/2019

Home from Home Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town. But the steps are steep so regular stops to look at the excellent gift shops, or to sit with a coffee, or an ice cream, or possibly even a delicious cocktail are advisable!

The small hotel is run by Jasmine and Dimitri, and has been in the family since 1986. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning - I am a coffee and toast person but my companion enjoyed every bite! 

The  beach can be reached on foot in ten minutes, offers a general store, eating places and lots of sun beds.

The owners offer a home from home and that is what we found - thank you very much Jasmine and Dimitri and thanks too to your charming son.		 - 04/07/2017

Perfect stay  We had a great time at hotel idi! Very welcomming and friendly owners, helpfull to inform what to do around agia galini.  A homemade breakfast (something different) everyday, served in the garden, very tasty! The location was super, close to the beach and the town. Supermarket just down the road, great to buy some 'meze'  and enjoy on the balcony. The room was also very clean! 

Would definatly come back to Idi a next time!

Exceptional  Przepiękny widok na morze z 3 piętra z balkonem i kwitnącymi różowymi kwiatami (oleandry?). Czysto, przytulny pokój, dobrze wykończony (po remoncie), nieduża ale ładna łazienka. Lodówka, klimatyzacja. Dobre śniadania, chociaż na słodko i nieduże. Mili gospodarze, doradzali gdzie pojechać. Kot przy śniadaniu. Niedaleko do plaży (woda niestety nieprzejrzysta) i do portu, gdzie jest mnóstwo sklepów i knajpek.

A good welcome followed up by a happy stay.  The hotel is conveniently sited, old and extended village easily accessible, parking not difficult, biggish breakfast - kitchen not seen but cooked O.K. for unusually generous breakfast, nice room with balcony that got afternoon shade, decent plumbing not needing lavatory paper to be deposited in a bin.  It does only breakfast, but there is a choice of tavernas within easy striking distance during the season.
 We liked the hotel.  Nothing not to like unless you want a different sort of hotel.		 - 18/06/2019

A feel like home experience  Best is the breakfast that asimina makes every day, the view to the sea and the cleanliness of the rooms.
 In case you cant go up the stairs you have to ask for a room in the first floor. In our case we didnt mind, because the higher you go, the better the view 🙂 They also offered to help us carry up the luggage which was very kind.		 - 01/09/2020

Familiäres Ambiente, kleines Zimmer, laut in der Nacht, 😀 - Das Hotel war sehr sauber, täglich wurden die Zimmer gereinigt. Sehr genossen haben wir die Herzlichkeit der Hotelbesitzer und das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück auf der Terrasse. 😞 - Wir hatten ein kleines, aber angeblich ruhiges Zimmer mit Balkon im 3. Stock mit "Dorfblick". Wegen der kühlen Nächte benötigten wir keine Klimaanlage. Dennoch konnten wir wegen Verkehrslärm und Nachbarn bis nach Mitternacht nicht bei offener Balkontür schlafen, weil es zu laut war. Der Kühlschrank brummte deutlich hörbar, wir steckten ihn in der Nacht aus.		 - 06/10/2025

A very nice place! We stayed in Agia Galini at this hotel for five days. We were warmly welcomed by the family who runs this place. We had a nice and clean room with a beautiful view over the sea and the town. Every morning the lady of the house made delicious breakfast, always something different. Entspannend 😀 - Das familiengeführte Hotel ist überaus gastfreundlich, sauber und hat eine wunderbare Terrasse mit Garten. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag typisch kretisch von der Hotelbesitzerin selbst köstlich zubereitet. Wir waren in diesem Jahr das zweite Mal dort und können es nur weiterempfehlen. 😞 - Man muss noch gut zu Fuß sein, denn die Pension hat keinen Aufzug. Auch de Weg zum Weg ist nur mit Abstieg und später Aufstieg zu bewältigen. Gutes Training für die Kondition.		 - 12/10/2025

Wunderbares Hotel für Individualisten und gut als Basis für Ausflugsziele.  Sehr gut gführtes kleines Hotel , das morgendliche Frühstück war vielseitig und abwechslungsreich, die Getränke entsprachen europäischen Standard..

😀 - Wat een leuke accommodatie is dit. Centraal gelegen in Agia Galini. Alles op loopafstand. Auto kan voor de deur geparkeerd worden. Kamers zijn ruim. Wij hadden de familiekamer en onze kinderen hadden normale bedden. Kamers worden iedere dag schoon gemaakt. Wat ze heerlijk vonden liggen. Het speciale van deze accommodatie is toch wel de gastvrouw die iedere dag een heerlijk afwisselend ontbijt serveert met eigen streekproducten. We hebben genoten. Tip; ga ook naar het plaatsje Matala ( 40 min rijden leuk hippie dorp met heerlijk strand). 😞 - niks		 - 31/07/2025
