IDI Hotel was founded in 1986 by Dimitris Giasafakis – named after the highest mountain of Crete – and since then constitutes one of the standard relaxation destinations in Agia Galini. Nice atmosphere, elegance, comfort, discretion are just some of the features that distinguish the hotel.
Each room has its own identity.This means that the colors, the substrates, the decorative elements etc,have been chosen on the basis of different artistic inspiration in each.
As a family-run hotel, managed by Asimina and Dimitris Giasafakis, IDI hotel rewards its guests for their choice with its unique hospitality, comfort and aesthetics of its rooms and its flexible services, so it has so far many friends around the world who prefer it for their holidays each year.
We want to assure you that our priority is the health and safety of our guests and team. We are following hygiene guidelines set by the Ministry of Tourism and the Hotel Chamber of Greece such as operational procedures and protocols. These procedures and protocols are adapted in order to ensure the correct application of all health and safety measures against Covid-19.

Like Family Although this is not a high end luxurious hotel, the hospitality is the ultimate luxury.
Been going to Agia Galini since 1985 and have found Hotel Idi to be my home away from home (with better weather). I can't say enough good things about the hotel, which continues to get better each year, and the transcendent hospitality shared by the owners Jasmine and Demetri. They are the embodiment of the best of Greek hospitality. And, they are enthusiastic being hospitable. They moved all our belongings when we moved to a different room, shared recipes (cheese and crepe), provided wonderful breakfasts, and even got us a good deal on a taxi to the airport.
Five times I have stayed at Hotel Idi. I cannot think of considering another hotel in Agia Galini. My girlfriend would agree, and it was her first time there. More - 7/31/2013

Superb 😀 - Soggiorno piacevole in albergo a conduzione familiare, proprietari accoglienti e disponibili. Camere semplici, pulite, con balconcino su cui si arrampica una fantastica bouganville e vista mare.. Ανακαινισμενα δωματια, ωραιο πρωινο, φιλοξενια Το δωματιο που μειναμε ηταν πολυ καλογουστα ανακαινισμενο! Ολο το δωματιο καθως και τα μπανια του ηταν πολυ καθαρα. Το πρωινο ηταν πολυ ωραιο και η ιδιοκτητρια φροντιζει καθημερινα να υπαρχουν διαφορετικες σπιτικες λιχουδιες!! Τελευταιο και πολυ σημαντικο ειναι οτι οι ιδιοκτητες ειναι πολυ φιλοξενοι και χαμογελαστοι! - 7/30/2015

A very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good and varied. Hot food and cold every day.
Location was a little further away from the main hub than expected.

Exceptional La struttura é molto vicina al porto di Agia Galini. Percorrendo circa 300m a piedi si può raggiungere una spiaggia ben attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni. Per chi raggiunge la struttura con il proprio automezzo bisogna essere fortunati nel trovare un parcheggio nelle vicinanze. - 8/07/2019

IDI ideal Sehr freundlich, Frühstück jeden Morgen mit anderen lokalen Spezialitäten. Zimmer hat Atmosphäre. Kleiner Kühlschrank für Getränke auf dem Zimmer. Parkplatz. Sehr entgegenkommend beim Drucken der Boarding-Pässe. Alles ok - 10/13/2018

Volveríamos sin dudar 😀 - El lugar es familiar, tranquilo y limpio. La familia q lo gestiona es maravillosa. Te hacen sentir muy bien. Zeer aangenaam verblijf 😀 - Ontvangst door de familie die eigenaar is van het hotel was hartelijk. Ontbijt was heerlijk en zelfgemaakt, in de voortuin van het hotel. Omdat ze 40 jaar waren getrouwd werden de gasten uitgenodigd voor een zelfgemaakt Grieks diner, waarbij de zoon wat liedjes op zijn luit speelde. 😞 - None - 8/07/2023
