A very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good and varied. Hot food and cold every day.
Location was a little further away from the main hub than expected.
But from the top floor view was excellent.

Home from Home Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town. But the steps are steep so regular stops to look at the excellent gift shops, or to sit with a coffee, or an ice cream, or possibly even a delicious cocktail are advisable!

The small hotel is run by Jasmine and Dimitri, and has been in the family since 1986. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning - I am a coffee and toast person but my companion enjoyed every bite!

The beach can be reached on foot in ten minutes, offers a general store, eating places and lots of sun beds.

The owners offer a home from home and that is what we found - thank you very much Jasmine and Dimitri and thanks too to your charming son. - 04/07/2017 

Wunderbares Hotel für Individualisten und gut als Basis für Ausflugsziele. Sehr gut gführtes kleines Hotel , das morgendliche Frühstück war vielseitig und abwechslungsreich, die Getränke entsprachen europäischen Standard..

Good value for money. An excellent small family run hotel of just 15 rooms. Breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is served on the terrace overlooking the front garden. Jasmin and and staff are very friendly and helpful, and very proud of both the hotel and Agia Galini itself. This was our second visit to this most welcoming haven, and I'm sure we will be back again. - 18/06/2014 

Couldn't wish for more The taxi was waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was over two hours late. It was dark when we arrived at the hotel but the owner was outside waiting to greet us. We were quickly shown to our room and given an excellent recommendation of where to eat. It wasn't until the morning when I opened the shutters and was speechless by the most amazing panoramic view of the bay that I realised this was a special place. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and although the food arrived quickly you never felt you needed to hurry. The fridge in the room was very useful as was the little kitchen for making a cup of tea. Everything was perfect! To save always having to bother the owners to lock your valuables in the safe it would be useful if the rooms had their own. All in all a wonderful little hotel, especially the sea view rooms. Will be returning soon, I hope. - 14/09/2014

Fantastico hotel Colazione ottima, fatta in casa e sempre diversa. Personale gentilissimo, posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro di agia galini a piedi.
Essendo una zona piena di hotel, trovare il parcheggio non è facile. Il parcheggio del porto è comunque a 5 minuti a piedi. - 24/09/2018 

Great experiance - Nice little hotel We stayed for 10 nights at IDI Hotel and are overall happy with what we experianced. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony towards the road and sea. Great view, as the street - even the main street down to the harbor is not to busy in the night - but we enjoyed a good look on the blue sea.
The rooms are small, but well renovated and of good standard. All day cleaning was provided by the family who runs this place.
The breakfast is like many others mentioned allready on this platform - simply good and great. It is served freshly in the small garden and has every day one different local speciality served, beside bread with butter, honey and marmelade, cake, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee. Lovely and good.
Very close to the hotel is a small super market, that makes live more conveniance there by having some drinks available.
Downhill in 10 walking minutes is the beach with good options for a sun bed and swim. Same time is needed to walk downhill reaching all the taverna's and restaurants with great local food. Our favourite Taverna was the PANTHEON with a roof top terrace and a phantastic view to the harbor.
The free wifi is working well and a mini TV (we not use it) is installed. The remote control of the A/C was not working, but we did not complained as we did not use the A/C as well during our stay - just let the balcony doors open.
If you do not matter the stairs up (no elevator) and ask for a room at the 3th floor we beleive the sea view would be fantastic.
The IDI hotel is a family runed hotel with great host's.

Exceptional Geen vlees of kaas bij het ontbijt maar wel elke dag iets lekkers, gemaakt/ gebakken door de gastvrouw.

Entspannend 😀 - Das familiengeführte Hotel ist überaus gastfreundlich, sauber und hat eine wunderbare Terrasse mit Garten. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag typisch kretisch von der Hotelbesitzerin selbst köstlich zubereitet. Wir waren in diesem Jahr das zweite Mal dort und können es nur weiterempfehlen. 😞 - Man muss noch gut zu Fuß sein, denn die Pension hat keinen Aufzug. Auch de Weg zum Weg ist nur mit Abstieg und später Aufstieg zu bewältigen. Gutes Training für die Kondition. - 12/10/2025 

Superb 😀 - Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, sind unseren Wünschen nachgekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Der Ausblick aufs Meer von unserem Balkon aus war unser Highlight. Auch die Nähe zum Strand und zur Stadt waren perfekt. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und üppig. Auf spezielle Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😞 - Das Bad hat leider oft einen unangenehmen Geruch gehabt, obwohl jeden Tag geputzt wurde. - 04/09/2023
