Our Breakfast

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. It provides many health benefits and a good feeling for the rest of the day. A rich breakfast helps the body function at its best, physically and mentally, enabling people to meet the demands of everyday activities.

In Hotel IDI you will taste each day a different combination of excellent treats, sweet and salty, all handmade by Asimina with pure, biological ingredients. Most of them from our farm – garden.

Breakfast is served daily, in the front yard next to the sunny garden, from 8am to 10am.

Tolles Frühstück, alles von der Wirtin selbst gebacken. Jeden Morgen

			I'd rather you stay away from Agia Galini, but ... If you insist on going and spoiling the bucolic splendor of the area, Hotel Idi is the place to stay.  A small hotel with perhaps a dozen rooms, the place is simple but very clean, very comfortable, has reliable internet, and awesome, delicious, breakfasts that vary daily.  The owners - like everyone we met on Crete - are warm and inviting.		 - 6/03/2016

			A great Greek gem, friendly, kind and great value This a true Greek great find.

So clean, with a lovely breakfast of fruit, bread, and a local omelette or pie or pancake.

All the family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms so clean. And unlike many Greek buildings, all areas of the hotel are beautifully kept and maintained.

The hotel is located just above the Main Streets, a little climb up but worth it with car parking in front the hotel, or street.

Its soooo not a sterile corporate hotel, it's great!

			Wunderbares Hotel für Individualisten und gut als Basis für Ausflugsziele.  Sehr gut gführtes kleines Hotel , das morgendliche Frühstück war vielseitig und abwechslungsreich, die Getränke entsprachen europäischen Standard..

Zimmer waren in einem sehr gut gepflegten Zustand

			Piacevole soggiorno  Camera pulita, con frigo e aria condizionata, intima, ma con un bellissimo e ampio balcone con tavolino e sedie, ho potuto fare yoga tutte le mattine in balcone contornata da bellissimi fiori rosa. Bagno tenuto bene, piccolo ma con doccia grande, anche per 2.

COLAZIONE spettacolare: ogni giorno fatta in casa dalla proprietaria e servita al tavolo, ogni giorno diversa e sempre ottima, con scelta di bevanda calda, più il succo, frutta, pane tostato e marmellate e con tutto il necessario per alzarsi pieni. Dolci/cibi tradizionali.

			Great value for money! Great Hospitality and location and a clean and spacious room with balcony and a great view. Here you feel part of the family immediately! Beach, waterfront and restaurants are all on walking distance and although there are a few steps to take to go down to the restaurants, for us this was not to much of problem even with our 2 year old child. 			Authentisches Fischerdorf mit super herzlichen Menschen - zum 5. Mal und immer gern wieder.  Herzliche Gastgeber vor allem. Meine Sonderwünsche (Taxitransfer vom/zum Flughafen, obere Etage, Meerblick, Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon, ...) - sie wurden alle erfüllt.

Asiminas unglaubliches Frühstück - sie hat ihre Gäste jeden Morgen mit selbst gebackenen süßen und herzhaften kleinen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt, dazu frisch gepresstem Orangensaft - viele Zutaten aus eigenem Garten. Und das so reichlich, dass wir das eine oder andere noch auf unsere Ausflüge als kleinen Proviant mitgenommen haben.

Die Betten waren höchst komfortabel - wir haben himmlisch geschlafen.
 Mir fällt da wirklich nichts ein. 

Wer noch echte Gastfreundschaft sucht, abseits von der typischen Touristen-Routine, der ist in Agia Galini und insbesondere bei Asimina und ihrem Mann bestens aufgehoben.		 - 11/02/2018

We got a warm welcome and the hosts were very helpful and hospitable through our stay. the location is nice, especially as our room overlooked the town and the sea. the varied breakfast each morning was a delight.

Wonderful Holiday

Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside). We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals.

Home from Home

Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town …. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning.

My batteries are fully charged

This was the best relaxed vacation ever. We were 21 days at IDI HOTEL. This hotel is very nice with the kindest hosts. Home made breakfast every morning. You could smell fresh pasterie when going out of the room every morning.
