Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. It provides many health benefits and a good feeling for the rest of the day. A rich breakfast helps the body function at its best, physically and mentally, enabling people to meet the demands of everyday activities.
In Hotel IDI you will taste each day a different combination of excellent treats, sweet and salty, all handmade by Asimina with pure, biological ingredients. Most of them from our farm – garden.
Breakfast is served daily, in the front yard next to the sunny garden, from 8am to 10am.

Excellent value for money We spent 3 nights at Hotel Idi and gladly came back for an entire week after leaving for 1 night on the northern coast. It's a GREAT bargain. The rooms are basic but very clean and well furnished (a/c, fridge, free wi-fi) with a wonderful balcony, and lady Jasmine is the best hotel owner I ever met: she will make you feel at home, and her handmade pies for breakfast are excellent. Restaurants and beach are respectively at a 5 and 10 minutes walk... perfect!!! - 7/20/2012

Very nice little hotel with family management The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the center of the village, but very calm. The rooms are middle size, very nice (every room has a different design) and very clean. Some rooms offer a breathtaking view on the Libyan Sea.The bathroom is excellent, over the average for Crete. The breakfast is simply exquisite, with every day something different, home-made by Asimina and served in the patio. Asimina, Dimitris and their family are very nice peoples that take time for you and make you feel welcome. We were there for the second time and we hope it will not be the last one ! - 7/08/2016

- Bonne situation géographique si vous souhaitez rayonner vers Matala
- La salle de bain refaite au goût du jour bien que très petite
- Le petit déjeuner fait maison sur la terrasse de l’établissement, sous les bougainvilliers
- Nous avons eu le choix entre deux chambres car la chambre initialement demandée (vue sur mer) n’était plus disponible. D’ailleurs, vue sur mer uniquement au dernier étage...!
- Stationner dans la rue n’est pas évident
- La chambre mérite un petit coup de neuf !
- Nous n’avions jamais vu une télévision aussi petite et cela nous a beaucoup fait rire! Nous ne la regardons pas le soir mais si vous aimez vous coucher et regarder la télévision avant de dormir, passez votre chemin 🙂

Couldn't wish for more The taxi was waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was over two hours late. It was dark when we arrived at the hotel but the owner was outside waiting to greet us. We were quickly shown to our room and given an excellent recommendation of where to eat. It wasn't until the morning when I opened the shutters and was speechless by the most amazing panoramic view of the bay that I realised this was a special place. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and although the food arrived quickly you never felt you needed to hurry. The fridge in the room was very useful as was the little kitchen for making a cup of tea. Everything was perfect! To save always having to bother the owners to lock your valuables in the safe it would be useful if the rooms had their own. All in all a wonderful little hotel, especially the sea view rooms. Best vacation ever Hotel Idi in agia galini have a high Standard. The family who ownes Idi hotel is the most lovely family you can find. When we woke up in the morning there was always something new and delicious that Asimina has made for breakfast The hotel is also good for relaxing. The beach is close only a few hundred meters from the hotel. And many lovely restaurants in the village of agia galini. We will come back in october. Best regards Rita Nilsen - 8/04/2018

Πολύ όμορφο οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο Ήμουν εκεί με την οικογένεια μου από 14/08-17/08/2014. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πάρα πολύ όμορφο και λειτουργικό. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικό. Η καθαριότητα του χώρου ήταν κάτι παραπάνω από εξαιρετική. Οι ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πάρα πολύ φιλικοί. - 8/20/2014

This was the best relaxed vacation ever. We were 21 days at IDI HOTEL. This hotel is very nice with the kindest hosts. Home made breakfast every morning. You could smell fresh pasterie when going out of the room every morning.

Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside). We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals.

We got a warm welcome and the hosts were very helpful and hospitable through our stay. the location is nice, especially as our room overlooked the town and the sea. the varied breakfast each morning was a delight.

Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town …. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning.
