Charmant petit hôtel familial Charmant petit hôtel familial, très très propre, chambre assez grande, joli balcon fleuri, literie très bien, délicieux et copieux petit-déjeuner, entre la plage et le centre du village et le port, accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui habitent sur place. On espère y retourner un jour.

😀 - Great breakfast, nice and big family room. Also great with a parking space right in front of the hotel. The owners are very sweet and helped us when our youngest had a sick day. 😞 - The family room is turned towards the mountains, so no view from our room. We will definitely go for two rooms on the other side instead if we were to return. The kitchen is VERY small and not really suited for cooking. - 19/10/2025 

Ottima posizione per la spiaggia ed il centro Stanza spaziosa e curata, balconcino fiorito vista mare. Colazione abbastanza varia nel fresco cortile sotto le bouganville in fiore.

Excellent hotel This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel Idi, and the accommodation , cleanliness, hospitality and service were even better than our first visit. A fabulous location and the setting of the breakfast on the terrace is magical. We'll definitely be back. - 05/07/2014 

Nice family run hotel. Very good value! Clean comfortable rooms. Not very big but in line with Cretan sizes. Home-cooked breakfast (different everyday) in a lovely garden. Convenient location close to town but away from noisy nightlife. We had good peaceful sleep. - 23/09/2014 

Ανακαινισμενα δωματια, ωραιο πρωινο, φιλοξενια Το δωματιο που μειναμε ηταν πολυ καλογουστα ανακαινισμενο! Ολο το δωματιο καθως και τα μπανια του ηταν πολυ καθαρα. Το πρωινο ηταν πολυ ωραιο και η ιδιοκτητρια φροντιζει καθημερινα να υπαρχουν διαφορετικες σπιτικες λιχουδιες!! Τελευταιο και πολυ σημαντικο ειναι οτι οι ιδιοκτητες ειναι πολυ φιλοξενοι και χαμογελαστοι! - 30/07/2015

Highly recommandable We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We had a nice and cosy room with a balcony and seaview. Very close to the sea and to the center with a lot of good restaurants.
Family owned. The people are very friendly.
Great breakfast with local specialities.

Exceptional 😀 - They had a good photographer taking pictures for the booking site, but this place for sure looks good for real too. We had a room with a wonderful and lovely view over both the mountains and the sea. The family who owns this hotel were really nice and made superb breakfast for us every morning. There was also a small common kitchenette where you could borrow some tools if you like. 😞 - None - 31/07/2023 

Superb 😀 - Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Gastgebern empfangen. Die Lage ist super, dicht zum Strand und zum Hafen. Parken kann man direkt vor der Unterkunft. Sollte kein Parkplatz verfügbar sein, ist das auch kein Problem. Der Gastgeber kümmert sich um einen dichten Parkplatz. Das Zimmer bietet genug Platz für zwei Personen. Das Bad ist klein, aber sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist auch recht geräumig. Eine kleine, an der Wand befestigte Wäscheleine ist ebenso vorhanden. Im zweiten Stockwerk befindet sich eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Wasserkocher, einer kleinen Herdplatte und Geschirr. Am besten ist natürlich das täglich frisch zubereitete Frühstück von der Gastgeberin. Alles selbst gebacken. Ein Traum. Serviert wird dies im kleinen Vorgarten. Sie hat auch sehr gute Tipps was Essen gehen und Ausflüge angeht. Auch konnte sie uns mit Sonnenschirmen aushelfen für die Tage, die wir dort unterwegs waren. Generell ist Agia Galini ein super Ausgangspunkt um umliegende Strände und Sehenswertes zu besuchen (Preveli oder Matala). Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😞 - None - 27/06/2023

Lovely owners, great value, amazing breakfast My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We were on the 3rd floor with a village view. Upon arrival the owner's son took up our luggage for us, which was nice. The room was very clean, the bathroom was good sized and functional with a countertop (not just a pedestal sink). Water pressure and temperature were also very good. There are blackout shutters to the balcony. These totally blocked out the light, keeping the room cool and dark enough for an afternoon nap. A small TV and fridge were also present.

There is a small shared kitchen available to prepare simple meals or grab a plate/utensils for in-room snacks.

There is no lift, so you have to take the stairs. The rooms are one, two or three flights up from ground level.

Now to the really good part: breakfast!

Each evening when we walked through the lobby, the smells coming from the kitchen would have drawn the gods down from Mt. Olympus. When I asked what it was the owner would say with a sheepish grin "It's for breakfast tomorrow, it's a surprise".

Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside)

We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals. Upon hearing this, I wished we were staying for 10 days, not just two!

Excellent bread, a fruit plate, vegetable pies, coffee, juice. All of it was delicious and carried us through to the early afternoon.

Hotel Idi is a great value in a great location. It is the lowest street down to the 'port' area. There are a few parking spaces out front. I would not hesitate to stay here again. - 19/06/2018 

un séjour charmant et agréable. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, le petit déjeuner est préparé maison, très bon café et très bons produits, le lieu est charmant et l'hôtel très bien situé.
